IMPACT Implementation Process
IMPACT integrates program quality with institutional functioning, ensuring strong interaction between instructional depth and institutional reliability. The process evaluates pedagogical content, instructional practices, and student development alongside governance culture, stakeholder relations, and quality processes.
The process begins with the school’s application and progresses through candidacy, self-assessment, site visit, approval, monitoring, and reaccreditation. Schools are ultimately categorized into three statuses: fully accredited, requiring revision, or directed to reapply.
Seven Stages of Accreditation
1. Application
The school completes the online Application Form and receives a response within two weeks.
2. Candidacy Approval
The school submits the application form and required fees to be recognized as a candidate institution.
3. Evaluation
The school receives performance standards and the self-assessment form. A country accreditation consultant is assigned to provide guidance. Within three months, the school uploads its self-assessment report and supporting documentation to the accreditation portal. After review and approval, the site visit is scheduled.
4. On-site Visit
The visit is scheduled by mutual agreement. During the visit, the Accreditation Experts review documents, observe school practices, and conduct interviews with stakeholders.
5. Certificate
Within one month after the visit, the Accreditation Expert submits a feedback report summarizing strengths and areas for improvement. The school is expected to complete required adjustments within the specified timeframe. Following verification, the Accreditation Board issues the accreditation certificate and the school is listed on the official website.
6. Monitoring and Improvement
The school maintains and strengthens compliance with standards. Annual development reports document progress and improvement plans.
7. Re-accreditation
Based on the school’s renewal request and evaluation of annual reports, compliance is reassessed. If satisfactory, accreditation is renewed for another five-year cycle.
Accreditation Outcomes
1. Full Accreditation
All criteria are fully met; the school earns full accreditation.
2. Revision Required
Most criteria are met, but some areas require improvement. Accreditation is granted upon completion of revisions.
3. Reapplication Required
The school fails to meet critical standards. Major deficiencies require a deferment of the process or reapplication.
